About holding an information hour «Chernobyl – my pain» in the institution «Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin»

As part of the action «Archives for School» and «School of Active Citizen» in the Year of Peace and Creation, on April 26, 2023, an information hour was held on the basis of the «Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin» on the topic «Chernobyl – my pain», dedicated to the Day memory of the Chernobyl tragedy, with students of the educational institution «Zhlobin State Technological College».

During the event, students got acquainted with documentary materials from the archive funds, a selection of newspaper articles characterizing and reflecting the events and consequences at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, watched the video «Chernobyl Tragedy».

After the event, the guys shared their impressions: «We must preserve the memory of this terrible tragedy, of the people who gave their health and life to save the Earth, and do everything so that such disasters never happen again!»
