Career guidance conversation for students in the institution «Zonal State Archive in Slutsk»

On April 19, 2023, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign and events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, a career-guidance conversation was held for students of the 10th grade of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 5 of Slutsk» in order to popularize the archives. Director of the archive Borodina I.A. told the students about the work of the Zonal State Archive in Slutsk, its tasks and main activities.

A virtual exhibition was presented for students: «History of the Archive», wherein in detail and understandable for the guys was told about the history of the creation of the archive, its place in the modern world. An analytical description was given to the composition and content of documents that are permanently stored in the archive.

The children were informed about the procedure for applying to the archive and the rules for working with archival documents.
