Amateurs of history and poetic words met in the library

April 5, 2023 in the branch of the Library No. 3 named after. V. Mayakovsky, Minsk, the event “In the vechorka near our apiary” took place. The main speakers were the poetess, guide Tatyana Shchitova and the leading researcher of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art Viktor Zhibul, who spoke about the history of the Velozavodsky settlement (former Comintern) and its famous residents, including writers Todor Klyashtorny, Mikola Nikonovich, Vera Lyutova , Mikhail Gerchik, Vladimir Gnilomedov, whose documents are kept in the BSAMLI funds. Members of the literary association “Slovo” also spoke and read their poems. The meeting was organized by the library employee, writer and artist Tatyana Kalenik.
