The zonal state archive in Lida was visited by students of grade 10 «B» of the state educational institution «Secondary School No.1 in Lida»

04.06.2023 the institution «Zonal State Archive in Lida» was visited by students of class 10 «B» of the state educational institution «Secondary School No. 1 in Lida». For schoolchildren, a lesson in patriotic education was held on the topic «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War» using documents from the Zonal State Archive in Lida, a tour of the archive was organized, with visits to exhibitions.

Schoolchildren learned how documents are received in the archive for storage, how a quick search for information among a large array of documents and archive funds, their safety and use is ensured.

The staff of the archive held a master class «School of a novice archivist» on the topic: «Preparing a case for storage in the archive».
