Director of the Department for Archives and Paperwork of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L. Voinov paid a working visit to the State Archive of the Grodno Region

On March 9, 2023, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L. Voinov paid a working visit to the State Archive of the Grodno Region.

During the visit, the prospects for the development of the archive, plans for 2023 were discussed with the leadership of the archive. Particular attention was paid to the issues of digitization of documents, the transition to electronic archives, and issues related to especially valuable documents were discussed.

O.L. Voinov got acquainted with the material and technical base of the archive, visited archives, a laboratory, a scientific reference library.

At the end of the visit, a meeting was held with the staff of the institution. The Director of the Department paid special attention to the need to maintain the tradition of continuity of generations and to carry out work to attract young specialists to the archive industry, noted the friendly and benevolent atmosphere in the team.
