Holding an event within the framework of the republican action «Archives for School» by employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Molodechno»

On February 07, 2023, within the framework of the Republican campaign «Archives for School», employees of the Zonal State Archive in Molodechno conducted a thematic tour «Introduction to the Archive» for students of grade 7 «A» of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium-College of Arts in Molodechno».

Employees of the Department for the use of documents told the history of the archive and archives, held a presentation of 3 mobile exhibitions prepared on the basis of documents and archive materials, a master class on filing a file, showed the repository and talked about the storage of archival documents.

Also during the tour, the head of the department for the use of documents and the introduction of automated technologies Tomkovich E.A. held a lesson-lecture with students on the topic «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the German occupation».

At the end of the tour, the children were shown to the reading room, where they wrote about their impressions of visiting the archive with a calligraphic pen and ink and on the Yatran electromechanical typewriter, which they had never done before.
