On the meeting of the commission under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on the identification, return, sharing and introduction of cultural values into scientific and cultural circulation

On December 1, 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus hosted a meeting of the commission under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on the identification, return, joint use and introduction into scientific and cultural circulation of cultural values that are abroad.

This meeting was attended by Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E. Tsvetkov, Director of the National Historical Archive of Belarus O.L. Voinov, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archive of Belarus M.D. Makarov.

In his speech, A.E. Tsvetkov noted that at present one of the tools for cooperation with foreign archival institutions is the continuation of joint publication and exhibition projects, the organization of presentations, as well as the exchange of copies of electronic documents on a parity basis.

M.D. Makarov spoke about the use of archival information received from foreign archival institutions.
