About the presentation of the book from the series «Without a statute of limitations» in Logoysk

On November 29, 2022, the presentation of the collection of documents and materials «Without a statute of limitations. Belarus: the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population in the occupied territory of the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War. Minsk Region».

The documents and materials presented in the book tell about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices committed during the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the Minsk region within its modern borders. The basis of the collection was the documents of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB), in addition, it included documents of the State Archives of the Minsk Region, the Central Archives of the KGB of the Republic of Belarus, the State Archives of the Russian Federation, the National Archives of the United States, the Central Archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In total, the collection includes 395 documents. The illustrative block presents photographic documents from the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents (BGAKFFD).

The presentation of the collection was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, Ethnic Relations and the Media of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus L.S.Ananich, Deputy Prosecutor of the Minsk Region M.N.Shestopalov, Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E.Tsvetkov, Deputy Chairman of the Logoisk Regional Executive Committee A.I.Raemskaya, Head of the Center for Military History of Belarus of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A.M.Litvin, Director of the NARB A.K.Demyanuk, Head of scientific, educational and public programs of the Historical Memory Foundation N.V.Selyukina, representatives of the KGB department for Minsk and the Minsk region, public associations of the Logoisk district, library workers, museums, teachers of the history of educational institutions of the Logoisk region, local historians.

As part of the event, a presentation of the banner exhibition “Without a statute of limitations. Belarus: crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population in the occupied territory of the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War, prepared by the NARB together with the BGAKFFD.
