On September 12, 2022, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus invites everyone to the Open Doors Day on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Archival Service of Belarus

On September 12, 2022, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus invites everyone to the Open Doors Day dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian Archival Service. Visitors will get acquainted with the work of the reading room, the archival repositories, and get advice on how to find the necessary information in the archive.

The guests will see the exhibition prepared by employees of the National Archives together with the Russian State Archives of Social and Political History on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of P. K.Ponomarenko. Also an interactive exhibition “Partisans of Belarus” will be presented. It includes more than 70 exhibits – photos from the Great Patriotic War, lists of awards and combat characteristics of partisans and underground fighters who acted during the Great Patriotic War. The exposition is based on the documents of the unique Internet project of the publishing house “Belarus Today” and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus “Partisans of Belarus”, the materials of the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings.
