Single Information Day at the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation

The main topic of discussion during the Single Information Day on August 30, 2022 at the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation was «Affordable housing is a priority task of the social policy of the Republic of Belarus».

The Director of the Archives, A. M. Zapartyko highlighted the main priorities of the state housing policy in the Republic of Belarus, especially emphasizing that its directions are aimed at improving the housing conditions of the citizens with the state support in building (purchasing) of housing, differentiated by categories of citizens and improving housing conditions without state support by developing the existing and creating new financial mechanisms, creating favorable conditions for building housing on a commercial basis, increasing the fund of rental housing. The main types of state support to citizens registered as being in need for improvement of their housing conditions were also discussed.

The topic of the event aroused a lively discussion, explained by the fact that young specialists (five people came to work at the institution upon graduation in 2022) were present at the information day and the issue of housing was a priority for them.

The main directions of the state policy in the field of work with young professionals coming to work in state institutions were also announced during the single information day.
