Representatives of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the National Archives took part in the round table in Brest

The delegation of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, represented by the director of the Department V. I. Kurash, and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, represented by the director A. K. Demyanyuk and the head of the publications department, candidate of historical sciences S. V. Kulinok, took part in the round table dedicated to the anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and the presentation of the book «1941-1945. Belarus-Russia. Partisan Movement during the Great Patriotic War».

Among the participants of the forum there were prominent political figures of Belarus and Russia, heads of ministries, scientists, representatives of public and veteran organizations, writers, museum workers, etc. Opening speeches were delivered by State Secretary of the Union State D. F. Mezentsev; Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Russian Historical Society S. E. Naryshkin; Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation V. R. Medinsky and others.

The presentation of the book was made by the editor-in-chief of the publishing house «Zvezda» A. N. Karlyukevich. He noted that a number of landmark projects have already been implemented in the Year of Historical Memory, including the multi-volume edition «Without Statute of Limitations. Belarus».

V. I. Kurash, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, in his speech noted the importance of primary sources – archival documents as the basis of any scientific research and a reliable protection of the historical justice. He also presented to the State Secretary of the Union State D. F. Mezentsev the complete set of 6 books from the series “Without Statute of Limitations. Belarus”.
