Events dedicated to the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, with the participation of the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings

On 6 May 2022, the Palace of the Republic hosted the exhibition “Unconquered Belarus “. The Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings became one of the participants and presented a temporary exhibition.

The exhibits on display told the visitors about the daily hard work of archivists in preserving and popularizing audio-visual documents reflecting the history of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture they prepared a photo series for a thematic movie to be demonstrated on May 6, 2022 during the complex of festive events in the Palace of the Republic to celebrate the Victory Day.

To mark the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a solemn meeting was held in Dzerzhinsk. The employees of the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings took part in the festive procession of labor collectives of the Dzerzhinsk district. Keepers of documentary evidence of the war and the victory have a special mission to preserve the memory of those who were able to crush the Nazis.
