Employees of the State Archives of Grodno Region held a lesson “Partisan Struggle and Underground Resistance in Grodno Region during the Great Patriotic War”

On 6 May 2022, as part of the Archives for School campaign, employees of the State Archives of Grodno Region held a lesson for students of 7th “D” grade at High School No. 6 in Grodno on the topic “Partisan Struggle and Underground Resistance in Grodno Region during the Great Patriotic War”.
The archivists showed documentary materials about the activities of anti-fascist underground groups and partisan brigades that operated in the Grodno region during the Nazi occupation.

The student had a tour around the Archives and viewed the most valuable and interesting documentary materials stored in the archival repository. In the laboratory for the restoration, binding and repair of documents, they watched the process of restoration of paper media. They also saw how files are bound and sheets are dried, and learned about the materials that are used in the restoration of documents.
