Photo exhibition “Behind the Scenes” about the shooting of the film “The Lion’s Grave” dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the National Poet of Belarus Yanka Kupala and the Year of Historical Memory

In the framework of the project “Behind the Scenes”, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings (BGAKFFD) together with the “Tsentralny” Cinema House in Minsk continues a series of photo exhibitions with the purpose to show everything that remains hidden from the audience during the work on the film.

From April 25 to May 29, 2022 the “Tsentralny” Cinema House in Minsk hosts a photo exhibition dedicated to the making of the film “The Lion’s Grave” (director Valery Rubinchik, operator Yuri Marukhin, 1971). The photo exhibition is timed to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the National Poet of Belarus Yanka Kupala and the Year of Historical Memory. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
