The Open Doors Days were held at the Mogilev Regional Library named after Lenin together with the State Archives of Public Organizations of Mogilev Region

On 22-23 March 2022, as part of the Year of Historical Memory and the Archives for School campaign, the Open Doors Days were held at the Mogilev Regional Library named after Lenin together with the State Archives of Public Organizations of Mogilev Region.

The State Archives of Public Organizations of Mogilev Region took an active part in preparing and holding a number of thematic exhibitions: “Partisan memory”, “The genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War in the territory of the Mogilev region”, “Eternal memory of the Mogilev land” (monuments and memorial complexes of the Mogilev region). The exhibits were based on the documents available from the Archive’s fonds No. 6115 “Collection of Documents of the Participants of the October Revolution, Civil and Great Patriotic Wars, Socialist Construction, Heroes of Socialist Labor of the Mogilev Region,” No. 9 “Mogilev Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus,” No. 4317 “Bobruisk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus”.

The head of the documents use department Tatyana Shevchik and the leading archivist of the documents use department Svetlana Bryuzgina acquainted the 8th grade students of Secondary School No. 22 with the archive documents on display and told about the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the Khatyn tragedy on March 22, 1943, and the formation of the Partisan movement in the territory of the Klichev district of Mogilev region, in particular about the 14th Temny Les Partisan Brigade.
