The Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno hosted a presentation of the documentary collection “Without Statute of Limitations. Grodno Region”

On February 16, the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno held a presentation of the collection of documents “Without Statute of Limitations. Grodno Region” in the six-volume project “Without Statute of Limitations. Belarus” about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War.

The collection of documents and materials has been prepared by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, the State Archives of Grodno Region, the State Archives of Public Associations of Grodno Region, the Central Archives of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the State Archives of the Russian Federation.

The presentation was attended by A. R. Dyukov, Director of the Historical Memory Foundation, A. K. Demyanyuk, Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Yu. Kh. Karayev, Assistant to the President – Inspector for Grodno Region, A. N. Skurat, Deputy Prosecutor of Grodno Region, I. F. Kuturko, Rector of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, as well as heads of archival institutions, heads of departments, representatives of Grodno Region Administration, staff and students of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, teachers of institutions of general secondary education in Grodno.
