The Belarusian Research Centre for Electronic Records organised and conducted an online training seminar for representatives of Belarusian organizations

On December 8, 2021, the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Records organized and conducted an online training seminar for representatives of organizations of the Republic of Belarus. Olga Zhuk, Head of the Acquisition Department at the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Records, delivered her report.

Representatives of 7 organisations, including AMKODOR OJSC, BELAZ OJSC, Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant, Alfa-Bank CJSC, and others took part in the event.

The seminar focused on the topical issues in the field of electronic document management and archival storage of documents in electronic form, electronic records and information resources:

• Regulatory and methodological framework of the Republic of Belarus in the field of working with documents in electronic form, electronic records and information resources;
• Organization of electronic document management and archival storage of documents in electronic form, electronic records;
• Appraisal of documents in electronic form, electronic records and information resources;
• Provision of archival storage of documents in electronic form, electronic records and information resources in the archive of the organization;
• Regulations for the work of the information system of the archive of electronic documents of the National Archival Fonds of the Republic of Belarus.

The final part of the online seminar was devoted to answering the questions:

• the possibility of including mobile applications of banks in the organisation’s file plan;
• peculiarities of creation and certification of electronic copies of paper documents;
• introduction of a time stamp in the Republic of Belarus;
• functional differences between the automated document management system (DMS) and the information system of the organisation’s archive, etc.
