The Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation took part in the Third International Round Table
On June 10, 2021, employees of the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation participated in the Third International Round Table “Informatization of Archival Business: Archival Information Resources in the Dynamic Development of the Digital Environment and Meeting User Needs”, organized by the State Archival Service of Ukraine, the Central State Scientific and Technical Archives of Ukraine and others.
The event was timed with the International Archives Week, held on June 7-11, 2021.
A. M. Zapartyko, Director of the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation made a welcoming speech at the Third International Round Table.
O. K. Teternik, Head of the Information Retrieval Systems and Automated Archival Technologies at the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation made a report “Information technologies in the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation: theory, practice and prospects”.
The Round Table was attended by representatives of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, central state archives of Ukraine, Kharkov National University of Municipal Economy named after A.N. Beketov, Kharkov National University named after V.N. Karazin, Ukrainian Research Institute of Archives and Records Management, Union of Archivists of Ukraine, higher educational institutions of Poland, Hungary, etc.
