The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus marks 94 Years

May 28, 2021 marks 94 years since the foundation of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus. Over the years, the Archives has passed an impressive and difficult way of formation, search for optimal and effective forms of work, strengthening of human resources and material and technical basis. The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus is the largest repository of invaluable documentary historical heritage, reflecting the most important events in modern socio-political, economic and cultural life of the country.

An innovative focus in work, the introduction of modern technologies, the implementation of innovative projects in publishing and exhibition activities allow the team to confidently keep up with the times and make a worthy contribution to the development of the archive industry, fulfilling the mission entrusted to archivists to preserve the documentary heritage of the nation, providing a high level of information services and access to archival collections for government agencies, organizations, scientific and cultural institutions, and citizens. Thanks to the efforts of the Archive specialists, the documentary treasury of Belarus is being preserved and enriched, strengthening the unbreakable bond between the past, the present and the future.
