The library collection of the archive consists of encyclopedias, reference books, collections of decrees of the governments of the USSR, RSFSR, BSSR, and the Republic of Belarus; history of Belarus («Our History: National Archive of the Republic of Belarus. 1927–2007»), history of the Great Patriotic War («On the Eve: Western Special Military District. End of 1939–1941», «Memory of Belarus», «History of the National partisan movement in Belarus during the war»); history of natural monuments of Belarus; history of the Great October Socialist Revolution; collections of documents on the restoration of the rights of victims during the repressions of the 20-80s; list of scientific and technical documents of the USSR; literature containing information about the development of archival science, about the state archives of the Republic of Belarus, the BSSR, the USSR and their documents; literature on archeography («Belarusian archeography») and heraldry («Armorial of the Belarusian gentry»); history of the Orthodox Church in the Vitebsk region; correspondence of M.V.
