The heads of archive services and state archives of Belarus and Russia had a professional meeting in Vitebsk
On 25 September 2019 the heads of archive services and state archival institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation had a professional meeting in Vitebsk, Belarus.
The delegation of Belarusian archivists was headed by Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Republic of Belarus Victor Kourash, the Russian delegation by Chief of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia Andrey Artizov.
The meeting included a joint session of the boards of the Belarusian Archives Department and the Russian Archival Agency. They discussed the issue of “Practices of representation of information on the Internet by the state archival institutions in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation”.
The professional meeting was followed by the scholarly conference on the topic “The acquisition, preservation and use of documents of non-government institutions”.
