Professional meeting of Belarusian and Russian archivists held at Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

On 3-4 June 2014 a professional meeting was held at Nizhny Novgorod, Russia between Belarusian and Russian archivists. The meeting discussed issues of the preservation of archival records on different media.

As part of the meeting, according to the Plan of Joint Actions between the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Belarus (Department) and the Federal Archival Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosarkhiv) for 2014 – 2016 a joint board session of the Department and the Rosarkhiv was held to discuss practices in the professional education and advanced training of archivists in Russia and Belarus.
