BGAKFFD Visits Minsk National Airport

On October 9, 2026, staff members from the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents visited Minsk National Airport. The tour was organized to mark Archivist’s Day. The archive employees had the opportunity to tour operational areas, visit the emergency rescue station, view specialized airfield equipment, and watch aircraft take off and land; they were also able to touch an aircraft and sit in the cockpit.

During the engaging three-hour tour, the staff learned about the history of the National Airport and the details and specifics of how this massive aviation enterprise operates.
