Participation of the Zonal State Archive in Novogrudok in the Unified Lesson Marking National Unity Day

On September 17, 2026—National Unity Day—N.A. Pisaruk, Head of the Department for Document Preservation, Registration, and Use at the Zonal State Archive in Novogrudok, participated in a «Unified Lesson» dedicated to the 87th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus and the BSSR, visiting Secondary School No.7 in Novogrudok.

Students were shown archival documents illustrating the establishment of Soviet power in the Novogrudok region, the formation of new administrative bodies and territorial divisions, and the initial transformations in the population’s economic, social, and cultural life.

The students discussed the significance of this national holiday and the importance of the Belarusian people’s unity in maintaining a strong and independent Republic of Belarus.
