Ceremonial event marking National Unity Day at the Zonal State Archive in Lida

On September 17, 2026, a ceremonial event marking National Unity Day was held at the Zonal State Archive in Lida. O.V.Ivanch, Head of the Department for Document Preservation and Scientific Reference Systems, addressed the staff, recalling the holiday’s historical roots and emphasizing its significance for shaping national identity and strengthening Belarusian statehood.

As part of the event, a thematic exhibition titled «National Unity Day: History of the Holiday» was presented to the archive staff. Additionally, the archivists viewed the documentary film «Reunification», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

Archive staff also participated in a ceremonial rally titled «Peace and Unity — The Strength of the People».
