On September 10, 2026, a meeting took place between a staff member of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region and students from the P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University

As part of the national «Archives for Schools» campaign and the «Young Archivist» project—and to mark the start of the academic year—a meeting was organized for third-year students majoring in History Education at the P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University. The event focused on the history of archival work in the Vitebsk region and the importance of preserving historical heritage for future generations.

During the event, the documentary film «Independence Day: Chronicles of Belarusian Statehood», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, was screened.
