«Archives for School» Campaign at the Zonal State Archives in Lida

On August 20, 2026, the Zonal State Archives in Lida welcomed a group of third- through eighth-grade students from Secondary School No.12 in Lida. The guests were treated to a thematic lesson, «Introduction to the Archive», and a tour of the institution. Archive staff explained the structure of Belarusian state archives and their missions. They focused on the history of the Lida Zonal State Archives, detailing its key areas of work. The students also watched the documentary «Liberation of the Grodno Region», produced by the Belarusian State Archives of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents. The event provided the students with the opportunity to gain new knowledge and benefit from it.
