BGAMLI staff visited the exhibition «Ah, how much beauty there is..»
On August 19, 2026, staff of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) visited the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum, where they viewed a solo exhibition of classic Belarusian caricature artist Anatoly Garmaza, which the organizers named after a line from his poem: «Ah, how much beauty there is..».
The exhibition was presented by leading researcher Irina Myshkovets. The renowned caricaturist A.Garmaza has now revealed himself to the public as a master of landscape painting. The exhibition features sketches painted during his travels across the vast expanses of Belarus. During the presentation, the curator emphasized how subtly and heartfeltly the artist conveys his deep love for Belarusian nature. Anatoly Garmaza’s works are distinguished by a special lyricism and convey the uniqueness of the captured moment.
