Tours of the Vitebsk Region State Archives as part of the «Archives for School» campaign

On July 20 and 22, 2026, tours were held at the Vitebsk Region State Archives for three groups of children attending the «Spartakovets» educational and health camp, organized at Vitebsk Secondary School No.6 named after A.E. Belokhvostikov.

During the visit, the children learned about how archives are filled with documents, how they are preserved and used, viewed publications and an exhibition of archival documents, visited one of the archive repositories, and watched documentaries produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

The events were held as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign.
