Classes for students of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno as part of the «Young Archivist» pilot project

On June 29, 2026, as part of the «Young Archivist» pilot project, the State Archives of the Grodno Region held two classes for third-year students of the Faculty of Philology at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

Archive staff introduced the students to the composition and content of the archive’s documents. During the classes, the students gained practical skills in using the archive’s scientific reference apparatus to search for information. The students were presented with collections of documents and materials, as well as exhibitions on display in the archive’s reading room.

Following the classes, the students visited the archive’s storage facility and the Department of Digitization and Restoration of Documents, where they learned about methods for restoring paper media.
