A Visit to the State Archives of the Brest Region by Students from the Summer Camp of Brest School No.16

On June 2 and 4, 2026, two groups of students from grades 6-8 from the summer camp of Brest Secondary School No.16 named after Hero of the Soviet Union A.M.Karasev visited the State Archives of the Brest Region.

The students learned about archival documents from the Great Patriotic War and watched the film «Hero Fortress», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

The students also participated in the quiz «How Well Do You Know the History of Brest?» and visited the archival storage facility and the archival document repair and restoration laboratory.
