Tour of the Rechitsa State Archives for Students of Secondary School No.10 in Rechitsa

On June 8, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and on the eve of International Archives Day (June 9), staff from the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa conducted a tour of the archives for students of the «Trudovik» labor and recreation camp at Secondary School No.10 in Rechitsa. The students listened with interest to the history of the institution, explored archival documents in the archives and at the exhibition, and viewed scientific reference literature from the Rechitsa State Archives.

On the eve of the 85th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War, the students were shown the documentary film «Hero Fortress». This film, produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents based on newsreels stored there, chronicles the heroic defense of the Brest Fortress in June-July 1941.
