Specialists from the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin conducted tours for students from health and labor camps in Kobrin and the surrounding area
From June 1st to 5th, a special atmosphere reigned at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin: eight sightseeing tours for schoolchildren were held.
The young guests enthusiastically explored the display cases and banner displays. But the most captivating moment was a visit to the archive storage facility.
The children were particularly impressed by a demonstration of artificial intelligence in the reading room. They saw how old, sometimes faded, photographs, thanks to modern technology, are transformed into three-dimensional, living images. It was truly magical, and left no one indifferent!
A special program was prepared for the students from the labor camp: a screening of the documentary film «Hero Fortress». This poignant film, created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, allowed the children to learn about the heroic deeds of our ancestors, strengthening their sense of pride in their country.
