The Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) participated in the presentation of the exhibition dedicated to Boris Arakcheev’s 100th anniversary at the National Art Museum

On June 3, 2026, E.A.Makarenko, Director of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art, took part in the presentation of the anniversary exhibition «Boris Arakcheev. Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Artist’s Birth», held at the National Art Museum of Belarus.

Boris Vladimirovich Arakcheev (1926–2013) was an artist, teacher, participant in the Great Patriotic War, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, recipient of the Order of Francysk Skaryna, and a recognized master of realistic painting.

The exhibition features paintings and graphic works from the collections of the National Art Museum, the National Center for Contemporary Arts, the Belarusian Union of Artists, and the family collection of Boris Arakcheev. The artist’s legacy includes large-scale narrative and thematic paintings, numerous landscapes, and refined floral still lifes.

The exhibition will run until July 6, 2026.
