The Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI) presents the virtual exhibition «Unlimited Melody Talent», dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Belarusian composer, teacher, and Honored Artist of the BSSR Dmitry Alexandrovich Lukas (1911–1979).
This exhibition reveals the rich creative path and profound lyrical individuality of this master, who made an invaluable contribution to the treasury of national musical culture. Visitors to the website can view documents from the composer’s personal archival collection. These include autographed scores of the famous opera «Kastus Kalinowski», romances, and music for television films and radio plays, as well as biographical materials reflecting not only Dmitry Lukas’s creative but also his teaching activities. Of particular interest are archival photographs from various years, allowing one to experience the atmosphere of the era in which the composer lived and worked.
