A screening of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» by staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region at Grodno Gymnasium No.6 named after F.E.Dzerzhinsky

On May 13, 2026, staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region organized a screening of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» for students of Grodno Gymnasium No.6 named after F.E.Dzerzhinsky. The film was prepared for the 85th anniversary of the defense of the Brest Fortress by the Belarusian State Archives of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. The unique archival footage made a strong impression on the students and once again reminded them of the courage and dedication of the Soviet soldiers who bore the brunt of the enemy’s first blows on June 22, 1941.
