Opening of the «Monuments of Immortality» Banner Exhibition at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin

On May 8, 2026, a banner exhibition entitled «Monuments of Immortality» opened at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin. This exhibition is dedicated to perpetuating the memory of the heroic deeds and sacrifices of the Great Patriotic War in the three districts covered by the archive: Berezovsky, Kobrinsky, and Pruzhany.

The exhibition features archival documents from the holdings of district and city authorities. These documents recount the many years of work carried out to improve the mass graves of Soviet soldiers and partisans, as well as the sites of mass extermination of civilians. The documents reflect a commitment to preserving memory, a desire to immortalize the heroic deeds of heroes, and to recall the tragic pages of history.

A special place in the exhibition is occupied by photographs of the monuments, collected from open internet sources. These photographs allow visitors to see firsthand the monuments erected in honor of the fallen and to sense the importance of their preservation.

The «Monuments of Immortality» exhibition is more than just a display of historical documents; it is a tribute to those who gave their lives for the peaceful skies and a reminder of the importance of preserving historical memory for future generations.
