A ceremonial meeting of the staff of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to Victory Day and the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem, and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus

On May 8, 2026, a ceremonial meeting of the staff of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter NARB) was held to commemorate Victory Day and the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem, and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.

NARB Director A.K.Demyanyuk addressed the staff with a welcoming address. He spoke about the importance of preserving the historical truth about the events of the Great Patriotic War and described the NARB’s events held to celebrate these national holidays.

NARB Deputy Director, PhD in History S.V.Kulinok, presented a report on the contribution of the Republic of Belarus and its natives to the Great Victory and described the main stages in the formation of the main state symbols of the Republic of Belarus.

The NARB staff was shown the video «AI-History: Dedicated to the Women of the Great Victory», prepared by NARB employee P.A.Golubeva under the supervision of A.E.Tsvetkov, Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

At the conclusion of the meeting, archival employee R.O.Khripov performed a medley of wartime songs for the NARB staff, accompanied by guitar.
