The Rechitsa Zonal State Archives participated in a radio program
On April 30, 2026, in honor of the Year of Belarusian Women and in the lead-up to Victory Day, employees of the Rechitsa Zonal State Archives — first-category archaeographer Sergei Zharnosenko and first-category archivist Galina Zhandarova — participated in the «Expert Conversation» program on Gomel City Radio (107.4 FM).
In a live conversation with host Ekaterina Kalendo, the archivists spoke about women who fought in the Great Patriotic War, whose archives are housed in the Rechitsa State Archives—sisters of mercy Evgeniya Adamovich and Valentina Lutsenko, partisan Antonina Kazachuk, and the director of the Ozershchyna Folk Choir, Honored Artist of the BSSR Tatyana Lopatina, who participated in the underground movement. During the presentation, radio listeners were informed about the documents of the above-mentioned women and the public purposes for which they are used.
