The organizational meeting of the jury for the regional (Vitebsk) stage of the competition within the framework of the «Volgograd – Vitebsk: Memory of Generations» project was held

The event took place on April 29, 2026, at the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian State Academy of Telecommunications.

The following took part in the discussion and formation of the judging panel: Igor Vitalyevich Demyanenko, Head of the Office of the Russian Embassy in Vitebsk, Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, PhD in Law; Alexander Vladimirovich Sysoev, Head of the Zheleznodorozhny District Administration of Vitebsk; Tatyana Vladimirovna Buevich, Deputy Director of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region; and representatives of city institutions.

Following the voting, Igor Vitalyevich Demyanenko was unanimously elected Chairman of the regional jury.

The «Volgograd – Vitebsk: Memory of Generations» project is more than just a student creative writing competition; it’s a living bridge between the cities, aimed at preserving our shared history.

The jury is scheduled to complete its work and select the winners of the regional stage of the competition on May 6.
