About the seminar «Organization of work on the selection and transfer of audiovisual documents for permanent storage in the BSAСPPD»
On April 30, 2026, in the conference hall of the Archives and Records Management Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, a seminar «Organization of work on the selection and transfer of audiovisual documents» for permanent storage in the «Belarusian State Archive of Cinema photo and phono documents» was held. More than 50 representatives of all state archives of the country took part in the seminar in various formats.
O.A.Ledovskaya, First Deputy Director of the Archives and Records Management Department, addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of collecting and preserving audiovisual documents reflecting the history of the archival industry.
The reports were made by employees of the BSAСPPD.
The head of the Department of formation of the National Archival Fund, L.V.Dubatovka, spoke about the specifics of the work of the state archive with audiovisual documents, paid attention to the selection of photographic documents for permanent storage, and the examination of their value.
The report of the deputy head of the NAF formation department, T.P.Dolzhenkova, was devoted to the methodology for compiling inventories of photographic documents for permanent storage, filling out the passport of the organization’s film library.
The participants of the webinar asked the representatives of the BSAСPPD the questions they were interested in.
