On the holding of a thematic event «In Memory Forever…» for students of the Rudnya Secondary School of Mozyr District

As part of the national campaign «Archives for School», a thematic event «In Memory Forever…» was held for students of the Rudnya Secondary School of Mozyr District on April 24, 2026, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.

Students had the opportunity to follow the events of that terrible day, learn about the devastating impact the explosion had on humanity and nature, how the population was evacuated, and much more.

At the end of the meeting, the students were shown the documentary «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
