Screening of the film «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy» at the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin

On April 24, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, staff from the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin held a film lecture on «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy» for seventh-grade students from Kobrin Secondary School No.9.

The story of Chernobyl is a story of courage, self-sacrifice, and, unfortunately, human error. But it is also a story of hope. Hope that we will learn from the past and build a future without such tragedies.

Today, in 2026, 40 years after the accident, we see how the world is changing.
