The primary union of the Zonal State Archives of Babruisk summarized its trade union activities

The primary union organizations of the Mogilev Regional Organization of the Trade Union of State Institution Employees are completing their 2025 reporting campaign. The final event in Babruisk was a reporting meeting at the Zonal State Archives of Babruisk. Valentin Glekov, Chairman of the Babruisk City Organization of the Trade Union of State Institution Employees, participated in the event.

The archive staff, all union members, are a true example of unity. This is the best indicator, which speaks volumes about the active social stance of each employee.

As noted by Olga Tormasova, Chairperson of the Trade Union, the foundation of the primary organization’s work is built on the principles of close cooperation with the administration and personally with the head of the institution, Elena Zayats. The key instrument of this partnership is the collective agreement, which effectively regulates working conditions, leisure activities, and the provision of benefits and guarantees to specialists. One of the most important areas of the trade union’s work in the past year was cultural and patriotic work. Preserving historical memory holds a special place in this work.

The archive’s staff also contributes to city affairs – they regularly participate actively in clean-up days and festive events in Bobruisk, proving that even a small team can accomplish great things.

Auditor Oksana Kanoiko highlighted the financial aspects of the work, presenting a report on the expenditure of funds. Union members, after hearing reports from the trade union committee chair and the audit commission, voted by open vote to recognize the work of the primary organization during the reporting period as satisfactory.

At the end of the meeting, Valentin Glekov expressed his sincere gratitude to the institution’s director, Elena Zayats, for constructive social partnership and mutual understanding, and to all members of the primary organization for their proactive stance and passionate involvement in the life of the union.
