On February 23 and 24, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» project, workshops and seminars were held for international students of the P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region

During the workshops, students learned about the history of archival work in Belarus, the archive’s main objectives and areas of activity, and the range of documents stored there. They also gained an understanding of archival research in the archive’s reading room. The event included a screening of the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, and a virtual exhibition project about the city of Vitebsk, «…for some reason I really wanted to go to Vitebsk…». One of the groups also received a tour of the archive.
