Students from the Mogilev State Medical College visited the State Archives of the Mogilev Region on a tour
On February 24, 2026, as part of the ongoing collaboration between the State Archives of the Mogilev Region and the Mogilev State Medical College, as well as the national «Archives for Schools» campaign, students majoring in Pharmacy from the college visited the archives.
The event began in the heart of the archives—the archival storage facility. The students were able to see the conditions in which documents are stored. They then tried their hand at being archivists searching for archival files.
The tour continued in the document digitization section. Here, guests were shown scanning equipment and were given a demonstration of the process of creating and editing digital copies of archival documents.
The tour concluded in the archives’ assembly hall, where the future pharmacists viewed a documentary exhibition dedicated to the history of medicine during the Great Patriotic War. Documents from the Mogilev City Hospital and Mogilev pharmacies, which describe the harsh conditions of the Nazi occupation and the heroism of medical personnel, generated keen interest and active discussion among those gathered.
