The Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) participated in the filming of a documentary

On February 9, 2026, the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) hosted the Belarus 3 TV channel’s filming of a newsreel documentary from the «Risen from the Ruins» series, dedicated to the restoration of the Belarusian State Circus.

Leading archivist Tatyana Aleksandrovna Anpilogova spoke in an interview about documents from the Minsk State Circus collection, which are stored in the archives and museum and document the circus’s activities in the post-war period. These documents include orders and instructions from the Main Directorate of Circuses, programs and scripts for circus performances, and plans for creative events and productions. Among other things, she showed an order from April 28, 1947, regarding the return from Orel and the restoration of the circus in Minsk on the site of the pre-war circus tent in Gorky Park, as well as the appointment of B.E.Kabishcher as the circus’ director.
