On the thematic lesson «Afghanistan: Without the Right to Be Forgotten» for students of the Slobodskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District

As part of the national «Archives for School» campaign, a thematic lesson «Afghanistan: Without the Right to Be Forgotten» was held on February 9, 2026, for students of the Slobodskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District. During the lesson, students learned about the events of the Afghan War and the exploits and heroism of Soviet soldiers. Students had the unique opportunity to review the memoirs and personal documents of participants in the military operations in Afghanistan, which are stored in the Zonal State Archives in Mozyr.

Yu.M.Suponenko, an employee of the Information and Document Management Department, organized a tour for students of the educational institution of the virtual exhibition «Women’s Faces of Belarus», prepared by the archival institution as part of the 2026 Year of the Belarusian Woman, declared by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
