On January 30, 2026, the educated and progressive portion of humanity celebrated the 105th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Shamyakin, the People’s Writer of Belarus. On the eve of the evening «Unthoughtful Shamyakin. He discussed the history of Ivan Shamyakin’s personal collection (154) in the archive-museum, the potential use of his documents for a modern understanding of his work, and documents associated with Ivan Shamyakin held in other collections at the Belarusian State Academy of Literature and Art (BSAMLI).
