On the holding of a thematic lesson «The Holocaust! How it was..». for students of the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District»

As part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», on January 26, 2026, in anticipation of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a thematic lesson «The Holocaust! How it was…» was held for students in grades 8 and 9 of the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District». The main goal of organizing and conducting the thematic lesson was to preserve the historical memory of the tragedy, instill in students a sense of compassion, humanism, and tolerance, and foster a strong rejection of Nazism.

The students were particularly interested in the archival documents of the Polesie Extraordinary Commission for the Investigation of Atrocities Committed by the Nazi Invaders during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. In the city of Mozyr and the Mozyr district, they were able to learn about and imagine the terrible events that affected the residents of their small homeland.
